Instead, it uses plant-based protein sourced from whole grains, green peas, and chickpeas and is ideal for vegan dogs. 

Halo’s vegan formula is designed to provide all the nutrients a dog needs and contains digestible carbohydrates including barley, oats, groats, and potatoes. It also contains antioxidants, fiber, and vitamins from sweet potatoes, blueberries, carrots, and cranberries. It does not contain corn, wheat, or rice filler and is free from animal protein.
